Robert E. Young, Psy.D.
Bob Young’s practice focuses on managerial and executive-level assessment, competency-modeling projects, team building activities, and organizational assessments and interventions. Bob has a special interest in business performance coaching and has developed and implemented well-structured systems, tools, and approaches for use with managerial and executive-level coaching programs. He is especially interested in management development, organizational culture, and organizational learning processes and consulting interventions.
Bob joined Hyde & Lichter after military service with the United States Air Force. As a full-time military psychologist and liaison to a Base Commander, Bob provided organizational consultancy and leadership coaching to commanders, department managers and healthcare providers, conducted numerous fitness-for-duty evaluations, assessed candidates to determine their suitability for special duty assignments and career fields, and led a unit-wide, multi-disciplinary disaster management team. He also contributed his organizational consulting skills internationally as a liaison to an anti-terrorism task force and the Aircraft Mishap Investigation and Prevention Board.
Bob completed his Psy.D. in Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
